Eisa Mozhdeh

Head coach

Eisa Mozhdeh is a 5th Dan black belt who knows how to bring out the best in his students. Coming from a family of five black belt siblings, Taekwondo runs in his blood.

Eisa is an elite athlete and a coached and competed for the New Zealand National Taekwondo Team and the Iranian Taekwondo National Team. Eisa won the Oceania Olympic Qualification Tournament for the Paris 2024 Olympics. He has won multiple Golds at National Championships in New Zealand, Australia and Iran won numerous international medals including Gold at the President’s Cup, Oceania Championships and many other medals in Oceania and Asia.

Eisa is a talented coach for a huge variety of different athletes – from people who have never done sport before all the way up to professional athletes. Eisa loves coaching both kids and adults, and pushes every student to be the best version of themselves. He believes one of the most important parts of martial arts, and life, is developing a strong mindset and challenging yourself to do better. Whether you are wanting to start a new sport, or to become national champion, he tailors his coaching to your needs.

Stella Bismark

Head Coach

Stella Bismark is a 3rd Dan Black Belt and has been a member of the New Zealand National Taekwondo Team, representing New Zealand in countries such as UAE, Turkey, Tahiti and Samoa and won international medals such as bronze at Pacific Games.

Stella is very passionate about Taekwondo, and has been training since she was 9. She is very focused on technique, both as an athlete and a coach and enjoys passing on her technical knowledge. Stella loves teaching kids and is passionate about making sport fun and accessible for kids of all ages and abilities. More photos coming soon 🙂

Coach Omid 

Omid Amidi is a 3rd Dan black belt and he’s an experienced elite athlete who competed and won competitions all around the world. He is the former world military taekwondo champion and Olympic Universities champion, and has medaled at competitions such as World Cup, Grand Prix and Olympic Islamic Games. Omid was also a training partner and coach for the Taiwan National Team. 

He has first hand competition and coaching experience from the world stage and specialists in coaching competition athletes.

Coach Ali

Coach Ali is a 4th dan black belt who has recently moved to New Zealand from Iran.

He is an old school fighter and has extremely fast kicks. He is a state champion in Iran and has 8 years of coaching experience. He is also very knowledgeable in poomsae technique and brings a sharp eye to the team.

Coach Sophie

Sophie Southwick has recently achieved her 1st dan black belt and is passionate about all things Taekwondo. She is a successful poomsae competitor and has developed extremely high and precise kicks. Sophie is very technical and is detail oriented.

Sophie loves working with kids, and has an amazing bond with all of the kids at training.

Amy the Dog

Amy is a golden labrador who loves running on the beach and swimming in the Waikanae river.
